The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bruno de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Xande Musiala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Musiala in the 66th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra. But to his dismay, Claudinho Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 72nd minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Alvarez. Desiderio Alvarez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Desiderio Alvarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Terra in the 80th minute. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Diamantino Britto hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Diego Bartolome shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Gustavson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. Desiderio Alvarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lamine Xande went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Desiderio Alvarez threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lamine Xande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Musiala in the 97th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
