After 17 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Romero. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Hugo Favoretto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Real Racing Club. In the 23rd minute Fermin Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Bala didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Elpidio Bala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 37th minute of play. The coaching staff of Real Racing Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nunez Larpe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Racing Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! If Thomás Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Bala was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The New Joinville - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Racing Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
