The tension between the Yaji FC and the CONSTILIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Melchor Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gilberto Min sped through Yaji FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavino Bras. After 9th play minutes Melquiades Matxin shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gavino Bras and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Natalio Polentzi hit a great ball. Gilberto Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gavino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Godfredo Ermano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yaji FC's zone, Geronimo Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Bras came out of the goal and Geronimo Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ferrer. A hard shot by Urbano Artaldo from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Fabio Francesco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The corner led CONSTILIANO's Bernardo Ortzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Bras despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half CONSTILIANO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 minutes of play, CONSTILIANO's Gilberto Min made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Bras was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Leoncio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes CONSTILIANO got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Leoncio. In the 66th minute Natalio Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Piarres during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when CONSTILIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CONSTILIANO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
