The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Victorino Peyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Munio. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Munio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Vergaray in the 8th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Paolo Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Bourne came free, but Paolo Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Birila to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Victorino Peyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. and the Maravilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Peyo. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jason Bourne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Bourne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Munio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Victorino Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Damian Cesaro. Nicanor Francesco struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Paolo Munio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.. 31 minutes into the game, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Jason Bourne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Munio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Paolo Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Vergaray in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Gogo Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Solustiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. the free kick. Jeronimo Solustiano kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 47 minutes, Ovidio Birila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maravilla and the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ovidio Birila hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmar Playo was the one to do the kick off. When Maravilla's Delmar Playo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalie prevented a goal. Paolo Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 68 minutes of play, Maravilla's Delmar Playo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeronimo Solustiano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Gogo Vergaray dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paolo Munio, 1-3. 91 minutes into the game, Victorino Peyo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paolo Munio. Victorino Peyo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.
