Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iván Leguizamón started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Santiago Reno got a free kick in the 6th minute. Iván Leguizamón scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes of play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Domingos Cordarrell made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Barovero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Cedro. In the 20th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Arnau to maneuver through the defense. If Gustavo Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Patricio Cedro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka the free kick. The supporters of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Cesaro's late challenge caught a Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Cesaro helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Damian Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Cordeara in the 38th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingos Cordarrell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Rito made a kick off. Maravilla's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Cordarrell in the 51st minute of play. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Domingos Cordarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Betadur made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Maravilla's Eliseo Benvide. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cleto Saturnin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Benigno Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Leguizamón in the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Gustavo Sotero made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Barovero. Maravilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 72nd minute, Ceferino Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Cedro got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Patricio Cedro got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Everardo Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Saturnin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Everardo Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
