Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bonifacio Cresconio got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, RB Chubut's Melquiades Salvatore threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabríel Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute, Anacleto Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Horacio Cordarin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. The goal made the score 1-0. Tomás Chico struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RB Chubut. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Mikolas during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Batistuta in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Gabríel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RB Chubut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabríel Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Anselmo Sarracino hit a great ball. Melquiades Salvatore acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anselmo Arias. In the 26th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Luzea to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Gabríel Batistuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabríel Batistuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Melquiades Salvatore was a little too slow when Gabríel Batistuta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Sarracino didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Melquiades Salvatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabríel Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Marcial Isaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Salvatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Rene Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Anselmo Arias struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RB Chubut. After 68 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sorin. Severino Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Gabríel Batistuta sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. In the 80thth minute of the game Marcial Isaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 88th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Sarracino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Anselmo Arias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Isaio in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Salvatore saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Gabríel Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Chubut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There was no doubt that RB Chubut were the better team. RB Chubut's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
