A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Julian Urritz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Jenaro in the 44th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ismael Jenaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Barovero was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
