Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iván Leguizamón got the match started through his kick off. Gustavo Gustavson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Leguizamón in the 8th minute of play. Bruno de Senna's late challenge caught a Maravilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Bruno de Senna. When Bruno de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the New Joinville - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno de Senna couldn't finish the play. Hugo Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Tobias Banegas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Terra got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinho Terra had several of the Maravilla's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marcelo Barovero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Terra made a kick off. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 54 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Damian Cesaro. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Alfredinho Fernandes was substituted for Amauri Romero. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Deivid Vander replaced Thomás Cardoso. Maravilla's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Terra in the 68th minute of play. Hugo Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maravilla's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Vander in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes Maravilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Damian Cesaro. In the 92nd minute of the match Hugo Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Barovero skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid Vander in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved Maravilla from getting behind. Hugo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the New Joinville - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
