Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Cresconio to make the kick off. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Teobaldo Milian a yellow card for diving instead. Iván Leguizamón succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Jaunti in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Barovero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maravilla's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Maravilla were victorious despite being under pressure from Club Atlético Atlanta for much of the match.
