Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gustavo Gustavson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Cordarrell in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno de Senna to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xande Koeman during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Terra in the 31st minute of play. Claudinho Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Abreu having to interfere. Cleto Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Hugo Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Abreu skillfully saved the ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu got control of the ball when Guga Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benigno Abreu. Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 61st minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benigno Abreu. Benigno Abreu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Deivid Vander was substituted for Thomás Cardoso. Bruno de Senna struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Benigno Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Joinville - FSCMZ. Benigno Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno de Senna in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benigno Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The New Joinville - FSCMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
