Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Saturnin scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Rito in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Cleto Saturnin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Edelmiro Leizarraga charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Cresconio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Cordarrell came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Cresconio's late challenge caught a Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Cresconio helped the player get up and apologised. Bonifacio Cresconio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Domingos Cordarrell lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Melquiades Salvatore. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
