Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Real Racing Club's Côme Concha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Côme Concha in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Gelmiro came free, but Astor Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Castulo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Anselmo Arias sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Racing Club's Oscar Constancio didn't even have to move. Real Racing Club's Oscar Constancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Real Racing Club from getting a goal against them. German Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Astor Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RB Chubut's Astor Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Iraido in the 33rd minute of play. Gabríel Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Oscar Constancio made a huge save. Oscar Constancio was a little too slow when Gabríel Batistuta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fermin Quintun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Transito. That made the score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. Oscar Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Isaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ferman. Anselmo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Tomás Chico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Constancio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Horacio Cordarin scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Constancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Constancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Isaio's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Oscar Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Batistuta in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Horacio Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that RB Chubut were the better team. RB Chubut's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
