After a defensive mix-up in Real Racing Club's zone, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Constancio came out of the goal and Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Constancio came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Claudinho Terra. But to his dismay, Claudinho Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Claudinho Terra notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Real Racing Club's Oscar Constancio. Oscar Constancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Real Racing Club's Gustavo Gustavson threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Côme Concha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes in the game, Côme Concha dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Côme Concha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gustavo Gustavson made a huge save. Hugo Favoretto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Terra came free, but Oscar Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 37th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Eliu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Bruno de Senna tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Quintun in the 39th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gustavo Gustavson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Côme Concha came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Real Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Côme Concha couldn't finish the play. Oscar Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 47th minute of play forced Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Oscar Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Racing Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Joinville - FSCMZ were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Oscar Constancio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Constancio. The goal made the score 0-4. When Ivan Ferman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Ivan Ferman a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Ferman. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Deivid Vander replaced Thomás Cardoso. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Chiquinho de Amorim was substituted for Amauri Romero. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Chiquinho de Amorim hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Deivid Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Racing Club the free kick. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Deivid Vander hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Oscar Constancio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Constancio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Favoretto went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Terra in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Constancio saved Real Racing Club from getting behind. In the 87th minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Constancio. Oscar Constancio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Gustavo Gustavson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Côme Concha, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. New Joinville - FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
