Tomás Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Iraido in the 17th minute of the match. Tomás Maule came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Racing Club's Côme Concha. But to his dismay, Côme Concha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luisito Gelmiro hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Lixandro. When Rosendo Todor came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bendito Sea El Fernet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Todor couldn't finish the play. When German Iraido came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Real Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice moves Eustaquio Tiadoro could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Oscar Constancio however easily saved by the left post. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Côme Concha in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Bendito Sea El Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Gelmiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Gaudencio Lixandro fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Racing Club's protests and gave Gaudencio Lixandro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gaudencio Lixandro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Angelino Olando got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Côme Concha in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Maule saved Bendito Sea El Fernet from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Eustaquio Tiadoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Constancio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Tomás Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Côme Concha's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. German Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute of the match, German Iraido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomás Maule saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fermin Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maule having to interfere. Oscar Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Tipi in the 71st minute of play forced Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Oscar Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Rosio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Côme Concha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Maule having to interfere.
