The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Faustão Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Piratas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roddie Griesck who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Beaumont FC booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Raimond Lenk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Faustão Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Lenk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Faustão Costa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk. Raimond Lenk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Costa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimond Lenk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimond Lenk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Faustão Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaumont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimond Lenk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Steven to maneuver through the defense. In the 41stth minute of the game Faustão Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, Faustão Costa made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Costa came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Beaumont FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Rolado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimond Lenk had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Faustão Costa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Beaumont FC's Faustão Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimond Lenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Faustão Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Beaumont FC booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Damian Precioso got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 67 minutes Piratas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roddie Griesck who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Teodoro Mero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Faustão Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Piratas FC's Raimond Lenk got control of the ball when Faustão Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Costa came free, but Raimond Lenk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Costa in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Faustão Costa made a precise shot to the right of Raimond Lenk. Piratas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 81 minutes into the game, Faustão Costa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raimond Lenk. Faustão Costa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Raimond Lenk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Costa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Faustão Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaumont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimond Lenk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Beaumont FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
