In the 4th minute, Igor Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Damian Precioso notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coghlan FC's Hermengildo Santana. Hermengildo Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Luken during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Coghlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Luken. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Spyros Zacharioudakis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hermengildo Santana. When Piratas FC's Spyros Zacharioudakis in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 33 minutes, Spyros Zacharioudakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spyros Zacharioudakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spyros Zacharioudakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spyros Zacharioudakis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Delmar Eliazar's late challenge caught a Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Eliazar helped the player get up and apologised. Delmar Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Spyros Zacharioudakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Zacharioudakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Spyros Zacharioudakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coghlan FC's Hermengildo Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Coghlan FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Severo Luken hit a great ball. Czeslaw Bochynski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Angelino Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coghlan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Efraim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimond Lenk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelino Efraim hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The Piratas FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Piratas FC's Spyros Zacharioudakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hermengildo Santana stood somewhat misplaced when Spyros Zacharioudakis came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Hermengildo Santana was a little too slow when Gaspar Montxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-8. 91 minutes into the match, Coghlan FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Bochynski. In the 92nd minute, Americo Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czeslaw Bochynski struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Hermengildo Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas FC. When the match was over Piratas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coghlan FC throughout the match.
