The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cipriano Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo-Enrique Scholes in the 5th minute of the match. Dário Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ruperto Bide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dário Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes of play, Gunners's Ruperto Bide made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Bide in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben-Ami Gol in the 17th minute of play forced Gunners's goalkeeper Cipriano Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yu Guang Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yu Guang Chen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cipriano Urbasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gunners's attentive Giorgos Kretsos managed to snatch the ball when Joakim Giliusson made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26thth minute of the game Ben-Ami Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunners's Cipriano Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yu Guang Chen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cipriano Urbasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cipriano Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 29th minute of play. Dário Tepedino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Bide went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Joakim Giliusson made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gunners's Giorgos Kretsos. 39 minutes into the match, Gunners's goalkeeper Cipriano Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Guang Chen. 40 minutes into the match, Pablo-Enrique Scholes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gunners's Cipriano Urbasa. Cipriano Urbasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Joakim Giliusson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gunners's Giorgos Kretsos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 44th minute Ruperto Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Ruperto Bide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Dário Tepedino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

If Muhittin Tuyuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Yu Guang Chen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Urbasa. Gunners's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yu Guang Chen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. A hard shot 59 in the game by Ruperto Bide from a close distance when the talented Dário Tepedino managed to make a qualified save. Barreal FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Guang Chen in the 64th minute of play forced Gunners's goalkeeper Cipriano Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Bide. 72 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Bide came free, but Dário Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo-Enrique Scholes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Giorgos Kretsos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Kretsos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunners's Cipriano Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo-Enrique Scholes in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the game Joakim Giliusson made a throw-in which Yu Guang Chen played forward. Cipriano Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Scholes in the 83rd minute of play. Ruperto Bide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pablo-Enrique Scholes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Farias to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Ben-Ami Gol came free, but Cipriano Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Gunners's Ruperto Bide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dário Tepedino. Dário Tepedino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Gunners's Victorio Gregory got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gunners had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
