The ATILA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Matro should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Yu Guang Chen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ATILA's Placido Matro. Placido Matro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacha Cousins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genadi Kotrulev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Guang Chen got free with Placido Matro in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ATILA booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben-Ami Gol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATILA's Placido Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben-Ami Gol in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Corrêa got free with Placido Matro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ATILA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edgard Cucao hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Pablo-Enrique Scholes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Matro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben-Ami Gol in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Matro saved ATILA from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sacha Cousins made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Olimpiu Covrig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genadi Kotrulev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dário Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Cucao charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Cucao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Placido Matro came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreal FC's Yu Guang Chen. But to his dismay, Yu Guang Chen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sacha Cousins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dário Tepedino made a huge save. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Corrêa in the 70th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Yu Guang Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barreal FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
