Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Hernan Louis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás DAndrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentino Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Catranides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás DAndrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Polo Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Catranides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Polo Quinteros notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolás DAndrea made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Polo Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cubero to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. M. Agus Young replaced Polo Quinteros. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. M. Agus Young was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers M. Agus Young in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolás DAndrea saved Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by M. Agus Young in the 59th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Jammy Krabbe from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Florentino Herauso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Levan Poggenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, M. Agus Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás DAndrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 77th minute, M. Agus Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Chano was slow to take the kick. During this time Santa Lucia de Merlo's players had a chance to rest. 91 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás DAndrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolás DAndrea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Santa Lucia de Merlo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Defensores del Ángel Gris for a fine match.
