When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 48 minutes, Zézinho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Soroca F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Şevket Çağa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Godofredo Quilino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soroca F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
