Rene Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matías Patrone having to make a save. In the 14th minute Marciano Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Öksal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco De Remate's Okanalp Öksal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Goyo in the 15th minute of play. Matías Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aires in the 18th minute. Rene Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the game, Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Patrone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Matías Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Aires in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Patrone saved Los Delfines from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Selmo in the 35th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Okanalp Öksal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Okanalp Öksal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Rene Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Aires made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Delfines's zone, Amado Nisio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matías Patrone came out of the goal and Amado Nisio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Bruno Medero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Patrone was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matías Patrone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Rene Aires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Matías Patrone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loco De Remate's Isaac Chayo was substituted for Hıdır Namal. Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez was substituted for Marciano Mundo. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Ambrosio Bartolome. 74 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
