Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 20th minute of the match. Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Sonny Sandström made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Chris Mergenthaler. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Johannes Uijtterhoven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Malvinas Argentinas's Sonny Sandström quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
