The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Heli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel Villapadierna. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Cesaro in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Villapadierna saved Patapon FC from getting behind. Abel Villapadierna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gayle Leto went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The Patapon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Villapadierna should have stopped the shot. Abdul Majid Awat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jabier Viedes in the 28th minute of the match. Abel Villapadierna made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gayle Leto sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leopoldo Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletic Club Araucaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Villapadierna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Villapadierna was a little too slow when Lino Heli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 8-0. 39 minutes into the match, Patapon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Cesaro came free, but Abel Villapadierna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Villapadierna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Heli in the 41st minute of the match. Lino Heli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Villapadierna came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Heli slotted it home off the left post making it 9-0 in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Cirilo Raymon made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Raymon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Villapadierna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Janez's late challenge caught a Atletic Club Araucaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Janez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Patapon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Janez to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Cirilo Raymon notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Patapon FC's Abel Villapadierna. Abel Villapadierna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Atletic Club Araucaria's Leopoldo Cesaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Villapadierna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Abel Villapadierna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Patapon FC's Katia Poladura got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Cirilo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Patapon FC defense, Cirilo Raymon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Villapadierna. The Patapon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Villapadierna should have stopped the shot. Abel Villapadierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Raymon in the 85th minute of play. Patapon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Raymon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. When Rocio Balsera fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patapon FC's protests and gave Rocio Balsera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Rocio Balsera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute, Jorge Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Villapadierna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletic Club Araucaria's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
