After a defensive mix-up in GrassNuts FC's zone, CJ Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Tunander came out of the goal and CJ Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, La Società Sport Osasco's Ted Rijkaard got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gösta Vennerkvist made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vitaliy van der Aa immediately put the ball in play.
