Manfred Kottsieper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Vladimirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Alemannia Aachen were awarded a corner. Manfred Kottsieper went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 16th minute of play. Jess Carnduff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Damario in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valter Xabat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Vladimirescu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Valter Xabat sped through Riesgo Cero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. In the 26th minute of the match Alemannia Aachen got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manfred Kottsieper ran over to the corner to take the kick. Patryk Dziczek hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Rydel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Vladimirescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Vladimirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Kottsieper in the 35th minute of play. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santo Damario in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jess Carnduff saved Alemannia Aachen from getting behind. In the 46th minute Kubilay İmge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manfred Kottsieper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valter Xabat to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Vladimirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Vladimirescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valter Xabat's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Lech Biskupiak struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jess Carnduff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riesgo Cero. Thomas Müller hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Vladimirescu saved Riesgo Cero from getting behind. After 78 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Santo Damario. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Valter Xabat notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu. Cristian Vladimirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Patryk Dziczek in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Damario in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Valter Xabat made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Vladimirescu. Riesgo Cero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Cristian Vladimirescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 89 minutes Riesgo Cero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manfred Kottsieper who took care of the corner kick. In the 95th minute, Patryk Dziczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alemannia Aachen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Riesgo Cero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
