Tequileros FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Paredes Malvido kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Edgard Lécuyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CJ Lewandowski scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Vuralhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Ted Rijkaard in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tequileros FC's Angel Osoro. Edgard Lécuyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rubinho Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Lécuyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute CJ Lewandowski suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 39 minutes into the game, Saverio Roano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tequileros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. Saverio Roano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The La Società Sport Osasco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ayhan Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half La Società Sport Osasco were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 65 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Brehme. 70 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's Conrado Baudelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubinho Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilvan Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ayhan Vuralhan made a huge save. Gilvan Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayhan Vuralhan having to make a save.
