Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Tunander having to interfere. When Eustaquio Jaizki fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Eustaquio Jaizki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Eustaquio Jaizki hit a great ball. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 10th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Åkerman's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Philip Åkerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. GrassNuts FC were furious when Huang Gang was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in GrassNuts FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Emil Chwalkiewicz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şevket Çağa in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Åkerman in the 24th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute GrassNuts FC were awarded a corner. Pär Almkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Åkerman in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 34th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save GrassNuts FC from getting a goal against them. A well-hit corner resulted in Vitaliy van der Aa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 43rd minute Emil Chwalkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Philip Åkerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 48 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy van der Aa came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şevket Çağa to make the kick off. Philip Åkerman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pankracy Glogowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Philip Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Çağa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy van der Aa came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şevket Çağa in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Şevket Çağa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Ferdinand hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Philip Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Philip Åkerman took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 78th minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitaliy van der Aas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Pankracy Glogowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 86th minute of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vitaliy van der Aa 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. 93 minutes into the game, Roger Magnusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GrassNuts FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Roger Magnusson hit a great ball.
