Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikolai Gerada took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikolai Gerada got free with Fabio Auer in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Nikolai Gerada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Nikolai Gerada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikolai Gerada took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austria's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikolai Gerada in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 17 minutes, Nikolai Zammit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buġibba Youngsters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikolai Zammit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Marc Kronecker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Buġibba Youngsters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marc Kronecker hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Joseph De Fremeaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nikolai Gerada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Joseph De Fremeaux sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Auer was a little too slow when Joseph De Fremeaux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikolai Gerada in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathaniel Sammut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikolai Gerada scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolai Gerada in the 39th minute of play. When Nathaniel Sammut fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buġibba Youngsters's protests and gave Nathaniel Sammut a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Austria booed when Buġibba Youngsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Sammut didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Joseph De Fremeaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolai Gerada in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolai Gerada came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikolai Gerada succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Buġibba Youngsters made a substitution. Matthew Magro replaced Nathaniel Sammut. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Nikolai Gerada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. When Marvin Harrer fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Marvin Harrer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Austria's Marvin Harrer got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Chircop, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Nikolai Gerada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Matthew Magro made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Nikolai Zammit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Buġibba Youngsters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
