All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Piearres made a kick off. Haithabu FC's Kurt Slaghmeulders managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baycan Işıldar in the 53 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Nordic Union defense, Rigoberto Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Ekman. The Nordic Union fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Ekman should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Andrade got free with Fabian Söderström in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Haithabu FC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Rigoberto Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Söderquist in the 66th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haithabu FC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Nordic Union's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrad Vrolijcx took the corner. Simon Blomquist made a great header on Haithabu FC's corner, it was just that Nordic Union's Simon Ekman managed to reach the ball for a save. Haithabu FC's Adrian Astigar was substituted for Simon Blomquist. Nordic Union's Simon Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Torres in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Torres in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Ekman saved Nordic Union from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nordic Union's Emil Lindmark got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Haithabu FC's Gervasio Albonico was substituted for Kurt Slaghmeulders. In the 94th match minute, Nordic Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Lindmark to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Jacinto Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haithabu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tao Shi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Bållström got a throw-in 99 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tao Shi Fan. Nordic Union's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Haithabu FC had won, even though Nordic Union had held more of the ball.
