C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Senin in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Yin Wei Yi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gui Almeida. Chinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yin Wei Yi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Senin in the 17th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Senin came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yin Wei Yi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gui Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yin Wei Yi ran back to his position shaking his head. Yin Wei Yi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gui Almeida made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slaveyko Neev in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Ireno saved C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Senin came free, but Benedicto Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slaveyko Neev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yin Wei Yi to make the kick off.
