Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Innocenzio in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Łukasz Fabiański made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Marco Zust had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sánchez Castruita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Albino Baladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ and the Azulgranas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Baladi to maneuver through the defense. When Yin Wei Yi came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yin Wei Yi couldn't finish the play. Azulgranas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uriel Laserna in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Yin Wei Yi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. Azulgranas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yin Wei Yi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 46 played minutes Azulgranas got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Laserna. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yin Wei Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Pablo Innocenzio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yin Wei Yi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Łukasz Fabiański came out and tried to block the shot, but Yin Wei Yi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 54th minute. Yin Wei Yis short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Łukasz Fabiański to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yin Wei Yi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Łukasz Fabiański skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański got control of the ball when Yin Wei Yi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Łukasz Fabiański narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
