Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Senin in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Martínez Quarta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gui Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remy Van Eyken, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Blomquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gui Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Van Eyken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gui Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chinho FC defense, Remy Van Eyken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gui Almeida. The Chinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gui Almeida should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Călin Senin in the 46th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Haithabu FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remy Van Eyken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remy Van Eyken got free with Gui Almeida in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remy Van Eyken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gui Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match Haithabu FC got a corner. Chinho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrad Vrolijcx ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Conrad Vrolijcx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gui Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Van Eyken in the 61st minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Remy Van Eyken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haithabu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wieslaw Szkaradek in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Remy Van Eyken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haithabu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remy Van Eyken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Visar De Hond. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Rigoberto Piearres replaced Remy Van Eyken. After 69 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Visar De Hond. Aleksandr Krieser took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Söderström. Haithabu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slaveyko Neev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gui Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Piearres's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Rigoberto Piearres put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gui Almeida. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Renan in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksandr Krieser came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Wiliam Mello hit a great ball. Haithabu FC's Gervasio Albonico was substituted for Kurt Slaghmeulders. Gui Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Piearres in the 96th minute of play. Haithabu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
