Emilio Vendrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Urquijo having to interfere. The supporters of EL COMANDANTE booed when CD Billanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Zabalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over EL COMANDANTE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CD Billanos throughout the match.
