The throw-in from Cesar Tartales in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Haithabu FC's Visar De Hond. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Zust in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Vrolijcx in the 25th minute of play forced Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azulgranas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrad Vrolijcx was slow to take the kick. During this time Haithabu FC's players had a chance to rest. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Tarresola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Remy Van Eyken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Łukasz Fabiański was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Łukasz Fabiański narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remy Van Eyken scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Łukasz Fabiański, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesar Tartales made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zadornin Goyeneta immediately put the ball in play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

In the 54th play minute Remy Van Eyken came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Łukasz Fabiański. 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Łukasz Fabiański. That made the score 1-6 after 57 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Remy Van Eyken took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Łukasz Fabiański to make any attempt to save it. Remy Van Eyken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Łukasz Fabiański read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanny Sabugo in the 74th minute of the match. Azulgranas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Rigoberto Piearres scored to the left of an out of position Łukasz Fabiański, making the score, 2-8. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Gervasio Albonico replaced Kurt Slaghmeulders. In the 94th minute, Ulises Terroba made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Söderström. Haithabu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-8. Haithabu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
