Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvydas Turskis was a little too slow when Jim Liljeström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Szczyglice's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Hulsebos came free, but Jonas Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost Holst in the 10th minute of play forced Szczyglice's goalkeeper Jonas Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Holst, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jim Liljeström kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Szczyglice's Alvydas Turskis threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jim Liljeström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonas Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joost Holst's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Ajax Amsterdam's Joost Holst in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szczyglice's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Prestes came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ajax Amsterdam's Pascal Hulsebos. But to his dismay, Pascal Hulsebos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th match minute, Szczyglice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Skwira to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Holst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes, Joost Holst made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Szczyglice's Jonas Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Laskowski got free with Alvydas Turskis in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dawid Laskowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alvydas Turskis made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joost Holst to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bernard Mochowak fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szczyglice's protests and gave Bernard Mochowak a yellow card for diving instead. Bernard Mochowak hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Otto Ekgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ajax Amsterdam's Joost Holst slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Prestes. That made the score 1-3 after 53 minutes of play. Otto Ekgren succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Joost Holst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. With a little luck, Szczyglice's Jonas Prestes got control of the ball when Otto Ekgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otto Ekgren's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With 65 minutes on the clock, Co Plescher commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Co Plescher kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Ekgren in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlo de Vos's late challenge caught a Szczyglice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo de Vos helped the player get up and apologised. Carlo de Vos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ajax Amsterdam made a substitution. Hermengildo Txeru replaced Joost Holst. Jonas Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Ekgren in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Otto Ekgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Prestes was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Stanislaw Skwira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvydas Turskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Laskowski in the 89th minute of the match. Szczyglice's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Otto Ekgren 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Otto Ekgren took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Jonas Prestes to make any attempt to save it.
