Joost Holst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Pascal Hulsebos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonas Prestes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Beniamin Filanowski's late challenge caught a Ajax Amsterdam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beniamin Filanowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Beniamin Filanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Otto Ekgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
