Claudinei Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Andries in the 34th minute of play. Dani Vassaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 41st minute of the match. Claudinei Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45thth minute of the game William Andries who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Cabezon made a kick off. After 56 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Hu Xi. Claudinei Velloso was a little too slow when William Andries got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ACF Fiorentina from getting a goal against them. Claudinei Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Goolen in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Andries in the 76th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Claudinei Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dani Vassaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Jesus in the 77th minute of play. Claudinei Velloso was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and William Andries capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Andries really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 84 minutes ACF Fiorentina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armando Felipillo who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giles De Wortelaers got free with Claudinei Velloso in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes in the game Horia Anisie did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ciriaco Urdaspal. Claudinei Velloso made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when William Andries sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oier Jareño didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
