With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Verna in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Clodio saved Mamina FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arrigo Verna in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Clodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Mamina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Capone came free, but Elpidio Clodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Verna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Clodio having to interfere. Claudio Lopez hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Elpidio Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Capone, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute.
