Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cercadinho from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov got control of the ball when Arrigo Verna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Biella F.C defense, Valiente Venezian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco De Rossi. The Biella F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco De Rossi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ciarrocchi in the 43rd minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Orest Komissarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valiente Venezian fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cercadinho's protests and gave Valiente Venezian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Valiente Venezian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valiente Venezian to strike the kick off in the second half. Cercadinho's Orest Komissarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Verna in the 55th minute of play. Arrigo Verna might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orest Komissarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Verna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Biella F.C's goalkeeper Francesco De Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orest Komissarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ciarrocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 71 minutes, Nando Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cercadinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Biella F.C's Arrigo Verna in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
