Corinthians Paulista's Sebastião Zanette managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stefan Döbbe in the 24 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Köhler in the 27th minute of play forced Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Cristiano Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Souza in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Olejmeulen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes, Dirk Schertz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linetshub and the Corinthians Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Corinthians Paulista booed when Linetshub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Schertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dustin Brückner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 57th playminute. Corinthians Paulista's Fábio do Valle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Philipp Berger, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Daniel Olejmeulen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Marinho in the 83rd minute of play. Cristiano Prata made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dirk Schertz sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Prata came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Linetshub's Dustin Brückner. But to his dismay, Dustin Brückner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Sebastião Zanette got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 96th match minute, Corinthians Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dustin Brückner in the 98th minute. The Corinthians Paulista supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Linetshub's performance. The match ended with a win for Linetshub.
