After 31 played minutes Ibiara SS got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Gonçalves. Jano Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Daniel Olejmeulen made a huge save. Hans-Joachim Pollakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Ibiara SS's Gildo Moreira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Philipp Huthmacher fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linetshub's protests and gave Philipp Huthmacher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Philipp Huthmacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joachim Köhler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ibiara SS's Luiz Gustavo Dracena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Olejmeulen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Daniel Olejmeulen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Ramos in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Köhler in the 57th minute of play forced Ibiara SS's goalkeeper Válter Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jano Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Olejmeulen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linetshub's Daniel Olejmeulen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Ramos in the 61st minute of play. Válter Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Köhler in the 63rd minute of play. Philipp Huthmacher took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válter Paes. Válter Paes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Jano Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Ibiara SS booed when Linetshub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Döbbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ibiara SS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hudson Maranhense hit a great ball. Dustin Brückner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Válter Paes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Linetshub's zone, Maicon Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Olejmeulen came out of the goal and Maicon Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes Ibiara SS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hans-Joachim Pollakowski who took care of the corner kick.
