Simon Ekman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Pernambucano in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Tao Shi Fan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Augusto de Brito. Tao Shi Fan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. EC Bahia's Zé Augusto de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tao Shi Fan in the 23rd minute of play. Ivar Billock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Augusto de Brito having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Dráuzio de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EC Bahia and the Nordic Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Augusto de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráuzio de Godoi made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Tao Shi Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Bahia's Zé Augusto de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Waldir Andrade sped through EC Bahia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Augusto de Brito. Tao Shi Fan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Augusto de Brito. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Augusto de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldir Andrade's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 93 minutes of play, Nordic Union's Tao Shi Fan made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Augusto de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Nordic Union booed when EC Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Nordic Union were the better team. Nordic Union's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
