Silvinho do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tao Shi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Gheorghe Ţopescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Mariusz Prusinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Ekman made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ernesto Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the game, Tao Shi Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Silvinho do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Håkan Borre hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Tao Shi Fan scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felippe Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Simon Ekman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Tao Shi Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nordic Union fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 32nd minute of the match Nagashow SC got a corner. Nordic Union's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elói Simões ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nagashow SC's Elói Simões was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Simon Ekman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silvinho do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tao Shi Fan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 37 minutes, Reginaldo Cosme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagashow SC and the Nordic Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Söderquist in the 38th minute of play forced Nagashow SC's goalkeeper Silvinho do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Söderquist in the 40th minute of play. Fredrik Söderquist took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvinho do Vale. Silvinho do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Silvinho do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nordic Union's Waldir Andrade was substituted for Ivar Billock. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tao Shi Fan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nagashow SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Söderquist came free, but Silvinho do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Nordic Union's Tao Shi Fan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Nagashow SC's Silvinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tao Shi Fan in the 64th minute of play. Elói Simões hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Tao Shi Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvinho do Vale, 0-9. Waldir Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Silvinho do Vale made a huge save. After some careless play in the Nagashow SC defense, Tao Shi Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvinho do Vale. The Nagashow SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvinho do Vale should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute Fredrik Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nordic Union's Fredrik Söderquist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvinho do Vale. That made the score 0-13 after 85 minutes of play. 89 minutes into the match, Tao Shi Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvinho do Vale, 0-14. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo da Rocha during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nordic Union's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
