Maicon Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. Válter Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Jajko, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Super Nova Galaxy's Ulryk Wnukowski got a free kick in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Ibiara SS's Maicon Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Glaza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Zula Jajko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Super Nova Galaxy's Wiktor Glaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Diniz in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Válter Paes managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Super Nova Galaxy's Zula Jajko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wiktor Glaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Benê Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Benê Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Super Nova Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Dudzik. Maicon Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zula Jajko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ibiara SS getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Magno Rezende hit a great ball. Karol Beninda, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 46th minute, Benê Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Magno Diniz hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 51st match minute, Ibiara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Dahlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torsten Dahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo Dracena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wiktor Glaza. Luiz Gustavo Dracena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jano Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wiktor Glaza came out and tried to block the shot, but Jano Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. Zula Jajko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jano Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Zula Jajko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wiktor Glaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magno Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Jano Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Wiktor Glaza. Super Nova Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Jano Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Wiktor Glaza. Super Nova Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ibiara SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
