Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Artaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Edgard Barros's late challenge caught a AFC CERBEROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Barros helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Juan Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Juan Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AFC CERBEROS booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aureliano Pacho. That made the score 3-1 after 87 minutes of play. During the 91st minute of the match Edgard Barros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard Barros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edgard Barros hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
