Alvaro Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Antonio Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gervasio Guillelmo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristian Gau. In the 7th minute, Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Alvaro Montrell notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of La Guardia Imperial's Antonio Florinio. Antonio Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Guillelmo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Gau saved Copérnico F.C. from getting behind. When La Guardia Imperial's Gervasio Guillelmo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Copérnico F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Antonio Florinio was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Hermengildo Cordeal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Cordeal really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After 28th play minutes Alvaro Montrell shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Antonio Florinio and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Asopos Katsiavrias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Asopos Katsiavrias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Florinio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Montrell in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Florinio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Sazon to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Montrell made a kick off. Alvaro Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Florinio having to interfere. Filomeno Oinatz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Asopos Katsiavrias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Florinio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Andres Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Florinio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asopos Katsiavrias went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Montrell in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Florinio saved La Guardia Imperial from getting behind. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Eustaquio Lluques got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Alvaro Montrell might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Florinio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Montrell ran back to his position shaking his head. Copérnico F.C.'s Asopos Katsiavrias got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Asopos Katsiavrias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copérnico F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Asopos Katsiavrias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Florinio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Asopos Katsiavrias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Gervasio Guillelmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Copérnico F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristian Gau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Dodorol. Antonio Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Montrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Copérnico F.C.'s Alvaro Montrell in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Copérnico F.C.'s Cristian Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Guillelmo in the 86th minute of play. Ezequiel Aztore hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Alvaro Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Florinio having to interfere. Cristian Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Guillelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
