In the 5th minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 10th minute of play. After 13 played minutes La Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Lluques. In the 14th minute Pedro Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Edgard Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Rojelio came free, but Antonio Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gervasio Guillelmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Guardia Imperial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Guardia Imperial. Antonio Florinio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 24th minute of the match. If Paolo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aquiles Oihenarte hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Rojelio in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Florinio saved La Guardia Imperial from getting behind. In the 40th minute Edgard Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Oinatz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Edgard Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Florinio came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Jaizki to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Edgard Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Severino Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Paolo Caradaro made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Florinio. La Guardia Imperial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in La Guardia Imperial's zone, Pedro Rojelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Florinio came out of the goal and Pedro Rojelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Jaizki scored 0-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Florinio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Florinio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Jaizki went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Pedro Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes La Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Dodorol. 92 minutes into the match, Edgard Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Florinio. La Guardia Imperial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 96th minute, Paolo Caradaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9.
