After 22 minutes U21 Albania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiktor Kjellqvist who took care of the corner kick. U21 Sweden's Wiktor Kjellqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Laze Gjoka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Frai Shehu made a precise shot to the right of Sixten Nordström. U21 Sweden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sixten Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januz Oparaku in the 28th minute of play. Sixten Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minir Noli in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Frai Shehu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minir Noli in the 38th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Pelle Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laze Gjoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelle Flinck succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Minir Noli in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Nordström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Januz Oparaku in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Frai Shehu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frai Shehu got free with Sixten Nordström in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Peanut Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laze Gjoka was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's Peanut Lord sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laze Gjoka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, U21 Albania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bajram Olldashi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Peanut Lord managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Sweden's supporters rose to their feet, but Peanut Lord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laze Gjoka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laze Gjoka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peanut Lord in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laze Gjoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When U21 Sweden's Peanut Lord in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Albania's goalie prevented a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
