Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Wiktor Kjellqvist made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, U21 Albania's Alesandro Nesta got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Pelle Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Sweden's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Flinck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laze Gjoka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Pelle Flinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laze Gjoka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luc Fontaine might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laze Gjoka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luc Fontaine ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pelle Flinck sped through U21 Albania's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januz Oparaku in the 24th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Sixten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Alesandro Nesta in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Sweden's Björn Ahlberg. Minir Noli scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixten Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes U21 Albania got a freekick which was hit by Minir Noli. Pelle Flinck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laze Gjoka came out and tried to block the shot, but Pelle Flinck slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Januz Oparaku notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström. Sixten Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Sweden's Björn Ahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Flinck in the 53rd minute of play forced U21 Albania's goalkeeper Laze Gjoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laze Gjoka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström got control of the ball when Minir Noli tried to sneak it across the goal line. U21 Sweden's King Elin was substituted for Wesley Van Hoojdonk. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Peanut Lord replaced Pelle Flinck. Rickard Lundgren scored 4-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laze Gjoka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sixten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luftëtar Myftiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peanut Lord in the 70th minute of play. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Peanut Lord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. The U21 Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laze Gjoka should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Luftëtar Myftiu came free, but Sixten Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Nordström was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Luftëtar Myftiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luftëtar Myftiu really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. 82 minutes into the match, Peanut Lord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laze Gjoka. U21 Albania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peanut Lord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. With a little luck, U21 Sweden's Sixten Nordström got control of the ball when Minir Noli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peanut Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Peanut Lord came free, but Laze Gjoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peanut Lord blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laze Gjoka having to make a save. 94 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Peanut Lord came free, but Laze Gjoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Albania's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
