Pelle Flinck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, U21 Sweden's Pelle Flinck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laze Gjoka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Wiktor Kjellqvist put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Laze Gjoka. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Albania from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Wiktor Kjellqvist sped through U21 Albania's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. Pelle Flinck struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Laze Gjoka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Sweden. Wiktor Kjellqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Laze Gjoka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 22 minutes into the game, Pelle Flinck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Laze Gjoka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wiktor Kjellqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Laze Gjoka firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wiktor Kjellqvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laze Gjoka could save by the left post. When U21 Sweden's Pelle Flinck in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Albania's goalie prevented a goal. Nikolas Shelgu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Pelle Flinck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laze Gjoka having to make a save. In the 35th minute Pelle Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laze Gjoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Sweden's Björn Ahlberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alesandro Nesta in the 37 minute of the game. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Pelle Flinck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. The U21 Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laze Gjoka should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pelle Flinck in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laze Gjoka saved U21 Albania from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Pelle Flinck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Laze Gjoka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laze Gjoka was a little too slow when Pelle Flinck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frai Shehu made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, U21 Sweden's Pelle Flinck made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laze Gjoka was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Sweden's Peanut Lord was substituted for Pelle Flinck. Frai Shehu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Peanut Lord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laze Gjoka was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Peanut Lord came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the U21 Sweden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peanut Lord couldn't finish the play. Peanut Lord's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laze Gjoka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Rickard Lundgren made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When U21 Sweden's Peanut Lord in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Albania's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the U21 Albania defense, Peanut Lord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laze Gjoka. Laze Gjoka came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Sweden's Peanut Lord. But to his dismay, Peanut Lord quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. U21 Albania's Laze Gjoka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peanut Lord in the 79th minute of play. Peanut Lord took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laze Gjoka. Laze Gjoka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Laze Gjoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickard Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Alesandro Nesta's late challenge caught a U21 Sweden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alesandro Nesta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of U21 Sweden booed when U21 Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alesandro Nesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, U21 Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Peanut Lord came free, but Laze Gjoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Albania players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Sweden.
